The Higgins Boat is one of the most important symbols of the Allied landings in Normandy during the D-Day operation on June 6, 1944. It was on the crowded decks of these small units that the soldiers reached occupied France. Our set bears the official logo of the 80th D-Day celebrations. Our model has been carefully designed in 1:35 scale. The model has a solid bottom and a maximum amount of details. The boat flap is opened using a string-based mechanism. The set includes two figures of American soldiers. Also included is a stand for displaying the model and a block with the name of the vessel.
