The JAS 39 Gripen is a jet light single-engine multipurpose combat aircraft of the duck concept, manufactured by the Swedish company Saab. The name of the Gripen aircraft means griffin and emphasizes the multi-purpose nature of the aircraft. The abbreviation JAS was formed from the Swedish words: Jakt - hunting, Attack - ambush, Spaning - exploration. The Gripen is a high-performance, multi-role machine capable of performing all of these tasks. In the Czech Republic, the JAS-39C version is used, a modernization of the MS-20 (took place in 2018), which allows it to carry, among other things, the most modern weapons. Gripen is this modernization of avionics and the range of armament at the level of aircraft such as F-16 C Block 52 or Dassault Rafale. The model is 1:48 scale and assembled measures 31.5 x 20 x 10 cm. The package contains 465 building blocks.
